Our Very Own
Cameron always had great descriptions of exactly where the story arcs were and what he would tell the actors. This is great information to have when scoring a film. The story takes place in Shelbyville, Tennessee, so we used a rural American sound mixed with a relatively traditional score, to get the dramatic film effect tied to the region. We had themes for the mother, father and son characters and a theme for the town, which was also a big character. I was very happy were we ended up.
