Seth had storyboarded every scene of this film and this gave it a very comic book feel that made it very fun to watch. Seth also gave me a lot of creative freedom to come up with something original in the cheeky synth-pop style. He had been listening to the New Young Pony Club a lot and really liked the sound of their stuff, which made me very excited to break out all my old-school analogue toys. There was a lot of hand percussion and driving synths in this score. We wound up with only one cue with guitar and no strings anywhere. This film is almost entirely scored with my MS10, MS20, Juno6, Matrix 12, and my modular system.
