This was a beautiful story about a tween girl losing her mom right after she found her Dad. After sitting with Katrina and Danielle and listening to music together, we discovered that “that” sound they kept referring to was a pedal steel guitar. We ended up with a lot of Dobro/resonator guitar, piano, acoustic guitars and mandolins, mixed with the melancholic sound of a whining pedal steel and a Gretsch hollow body, performing the long drawn out melodies.
